This article shows how to copy the course contents from one to another.

Make sure you have an empty course shell in Canvas before you import material from another course. If you do not see your course in the Canvas Dashboard, contact Academic Technology for help.
Quick Start
- To Import: From the course, choose Settings > Import Course Content
As soon as you click "Create Export," you will see the processing bar. After a minute, try refreshing the browser if it does not change the status.
Always start an import from the course you want to import material into.
Customizing importing options are optional but recommended; especially adjusting due dates by shifting beginning data and course date can be helpful. In order to obtain each semester's beginning data and ending date, please reference IAIA website page: Academic Calendar.
Finishing the Import
Now you can review and edit the imported course content.
