Clearing Your Browser's Cache

Your browser stores graphics and text as it displays them to you. This is called a cache (pronounced "cash").

Sometimes, data in the cache interferes with display a new version of a webpage. For example, a page in a Canvas course that has changed. Clearing your cache ensures that the new content of a webpage come right in to your browser for proper display.

Once you clear your browser's cache, be sure to refresh the page. This loads the latest version of the page.
