You can export the Canvas gradebook to a spreadsheet file on your computer. This allows you to work with student scores and grading in the spreadsheet rather than exclusively within Canvas.

Opening the File
Right-click the file in your Downloads folder, then choose the desired spreadsheet
You can now show/hide columns, insert formulas, and use other spreadsheet commands to work with the gradbook/scores data.
