The Zoom Waiting Room allows the host to admit meeting participants. This helps prevent uninvited participants to intrude into a meeting/class session.
No one can join your meeting, until you admit them.
Tip: Particularly with late-arriving participants, make sure you recognize the name of whomever you admit.
