You can create due dates in your course without requiring students to submit their coursework online. This enables students to check for upcoming assignments on their phone and the Web.

You will add an assignment, but set it as a paper submission (not an online submission).
Canvas displays the assignment. Now display all assignments.
Follow the same steps above to add more assignments, until all of the significant assignments in your course syllabus are listed.
Tip: If another assignment has similar identical requirements, you can duplicate the assignment, then revise.
Canvas displays all the due dates to your students on the Syllabus page.
